What is FocusedRiding?
FocusedRiding is a set of skills that are taught to help the rider use mind, body and self to achieve optimal concentration and "flow". Please Note: FocusedRiding is not psychotherapy.

What types of skills are taught?
Mind Skills include focusing, screening out distractions, relaxation training, visualization and mental rehearsal, management of emotions, mind-mapping, positive self-talk and many other skills.
Body Skills include breathing techniques, body awareness skills, energy movement techniques and more
Self Skills include understanding your own personal style and using your understanding to maximize your achievement. For example, defining personal style (eg. risk-taking vs. control) can help you understand what to expect from yourself when riding.

How long does it take?
Most people experience improvement in one or two consultations.
